How can you change your Bitmap images to Jpeg images for easier downloading?
I scanned many photos into my hard drive, but the setting was on Bitmap. But they consume so much time when attaching to emails. Jpegs are faster...how can I transform them? Is there a way?

The EASIEST way is just to open it in MS paint and save the bitmap as a jpeg. No need to download anything :) Start > Run > mspaint

IrfanView is a good photo editing and converting software. You just open the .bmp image in there, and then save it as a .jpg.
Or, if you have an editor program like Photoshop, you can do the same thing.
IrfanView is free and lightweight-- great software, and supports TONS of formats.
**Paint will likely cause greater quality loss.

You can use Paint to save them as jpeg one by one, or use any of a number of image viewing/conversion programs to batch convert them. I like Irfanview myself, it lets you run a batch job that converts them all in one go, also allowing you to resize or rotate them at the same time.

Open them, then re-save them as JPEGS.
