HORNBY - I HAVE a 1.2 X 2.4 board does anyone have any layout suggestions?

Im looking to have a layout in OO gauge that is interesting not just round and round

    1.2 feet? Pretty tough for OO scale.

    Consider a small switching layout. Even the 2.4 length doesn't leave a lot of room for that.

    Have you considered a shelf layout, for switching ?

    There are several books on layout designs, a model railroad club may have the books and more ideas. If none, are available, local hobby shops are a source in themselves, and also often advertise train shows to be held in your area. Lots of ideas there.

    If you cut the board in the centre lengthwise, you could have an interesting 1.2 X 3.6 shelf layout.
