Can I smoke weed while Im taking antibiotics for a throat infection? Would it have any interaction?

    There probably wouldn't be a reaction between the weed and the antibiotic. However, the smoke and the heat from smoking would cause the throat infection to last longer or get worse, though, so I wouldn't do it.

    You should be careful using weed when taking any medications though. THC blocks 15 of the bodies receptors that medications use to effect your body. That means that the medicine doesn't work like it is supposed to.

    If you can't stop smoking weed long enough to get over a throat infection(7-10 days) then you have a bigger problem than just the throat infection. The smoke alone will cause irritation and make getting over the illness more difficult.

    get rid of the throat infection....

    and most importantly. get rid of that trashy smoking habit.
