Can you give me some book recommendations?

I am in desperate need of some new books to read D:

Here are a few books that I read and liked:

Hunger Games

Marked (the entire series)

The hitch hiker's guide to the galaxy

Maximum Ride

I like anything Sci-fi, mystery, or otherworldly. Vampires are great so long as they are tastefully written (I don't really care for twilight all that much).

Any books that you recommend?

I also enjoyed the book "Everlost".

The Evermore series was very good as well.

For fantasy I would highly, highly recommend the Goblin Wood or the Prophecy.

If you like people books then Sarah Dessen and Nicolas Sparks books are really good. I really liked the Choice by Sparks.

If you like thriller/horror then I would recommend House by Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti (they are also religious writers and even though I'm not religious I highly enjoyed these books) and I'd also recommend Thr3e by Ted Dekker.

For mystery/suspense I would recommend And There Were None (aka Ten Little Indians) by Agatha Christie, the Westing Game by Ellen Raskin and Premonitions by Jude Watson (also it's sequel, Disappearance).

I would also recommend Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass. The Perks of Being A Wallflower. Go Ask Alice. The House of the Scorpion. The Sookie Stackhouse series (a little mature, however). A Million Little Pieces (also a little mature). Those are all in different genres but whatever. (:

I've read a couple of good series and books over the years. I'd reccomend anything written by:

Jodi Picoult (My Sister's Keeper, Salem Falls, Keeping Faith) She's a phenomenal writer!

Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook, The Last Song, Dear John)

    Some books/series would be:

The Inheritance Cycle (Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr) by Christopher Paolini

The Harry Potter Series by J.K Rowling

The House of Night Series by PC and Kristen Cast

Heartland Series (if you enjoy reading about horses) by Lauren Brooke

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan

There's a few suggestions that kept me pretty busy! Hope I helped

I just read Patricia Briggs - The Mercy Thompson novels. I just finished the fourth one, the fifth comes out next month. I think you will enjoy this series the best!

Awesome series! The main character is a mechanic and coyote. Patricia Briggs creates a great modern world (similar to Mortal instruments). Werewolves, fae, vampires...many twists & turns.

Also I read and loved THE SOOKIE STACKHOUSE books by Charlaine harris. One of the best series i read in a long time. The new HBO series "True Blood" is based on the sookie stackhouse books. The TV series changed many things from the books though. The Books are always better!

    Good Luck and enjoy!!

SCIENCE FICTION Everyone ignores sci-fi however in fact that a few books are almost part philosophy. Read Stranger in a Strange Land via Robert A. Heinlein, Prey via Michael Crichton, and 2001: A Space Odyssey or Rendevous With Rama via Arthur C. Clarke. Plus, I agree that Agatha Christie is a ought to-learn. After Shakespeare and the Bible, she has offered essentially the most quantity of books international ever. Her pleasant are And Then There Were None, The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, Murder at the Orient Express

The Dark Tower series by Stephen King

This series of seven books is unlike anything else the man has written. It is sci-fi, fantasy, horror, western, mystery all in one amazing story.
