What is the name of the chord on ukulele 2nd fret, 1st finger G, 2nd finger A?

    You didn't give enough information. You just said:

    first finger on 2nd fret G, which is A.

    second finger... on the A string.

    If it's just the first part, it's an A minor. ACEA

    If it's 2nd fret G, 2nd fret A, you have A minor 9. ACEB

    If I'm following you correctly, and it's GCEA tuning, and the C and E strings are open, then the chord would contain the notes C, E, A, and B, which would be an A minor 9 chord.
