Why does ESPN hate on JA Happ?

He had a 2.93 ERA last year and is projected for a 4.17 ERA this year.

What gives? Do they just hate pitchers who have ERAs under 3 or what?

But Bobby Jenks' ERA was 3.71 and he's projected to get 3.29

Do they just hate anyone who over-performs?

As a Phillies Phan, I am not aware of this news. If you are correct, then whoever did the projection is a moron. Or they are considering that since this will be his second full year he will have a slump because many batters now know him and his pitching style.

It's a prediction made by Accuscore, doesn't mean anything. Besides, they give the Phillies alot of coverage
