If you feel you don't need to take it regularly, then you don't have to take it regularly, but if you're already taking it regularly, and then one night feel you don't need it, so don't take it, that wouldn't be a good thing, due to possible withdrawal.
If not taking regularly, limit yourself to no more than 7 doses per month and you probably won't become dependent, but then again, how much is required for dependency varies widely between people. Some people become dependent very quickly, while others can take Klonopin for months or years regularly and only have very few if any withdrawal symptoms when tapering quickly.
In any case, if you taper very slowly (in some cases a year or more), withdrawal symptoms can be either almost completely or completely avoided -- see the link below for info on benzo withdrawal. I think it's genetic as to how much you take and how long you take it will make you dependent.
