Is there salmon fishing in Virginia rivers?

Im thinking about moving there and was inquiring if people fish for salmon in the rivers/streams

    As far as I know, there are no salmon in the rivers and streams in Virginia. There are, however, an abundance of trout, especially in the mountain streams and rivers of central and western Virginia. I have caught several very nice brown and rainbow trout in the rivers and mountain streams in the southwestern part of the state. I have also had some wonderful days catching native brook trout in the higher mountain streams of the Grayson Highlands. You can obtain or download maps of the trout streams in Virginia from the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries. I have provided a link below.

    i tried it one year and it wasn't very good i wouldn't waist my time again
