what is difference between Full-Service Restaurants and Limited-Service Restaurants?

whether it depend mainly on time (for example : Monday-Saturday = 9.00am to 5.00 pm and on Sunday 9.00am to 3.00am)or how many variety of dishes they serve. Could anyone explain this?

Thanks to your answer

a full service restaurant is a place where you go to and you don't have to do anything, Everything is done for you by your server. they bring you your drinks, refills, food, they check on you and make sure everything is okay...

a limited service restaurant... for example, like mcdonalds... you seat yourself... you have to bring your own food to the table, nobody is there to check on you... and most of the time, you have to pay for your drink refill.

    ..hope i helped.. :)

A full service restaurant is a place where you are seated and then a waiter or waitress comes and takes your order and then brings your food and checks on you from time to time and a limited service is where you order at a window or register like Sizzler and then they bring it to you or you fill your own plate at a buffet. and no one comes when you need something.
