Lysacek. He skated a clean skate, no wobbly landings etc. Plushenko on the other hand did execute the quad but his landing on a good amount of jumps including the quad were wobbly and the jumps were too clumped in the first three minutes and he didn't have a clean skate overall

Plushenko lost fair and square. He was not in good shape, and it showed in his lack of stamina during the long program. He looked liked he had barely trained, and gold medals should not be given to athletes in such poor condition. I think that he only got the silver on reputation.

In contrast Lysacek had an inspired and energetic program, and seemed to get stronger as time went on. The judges were unanimous in their verdict.

Had plushenko did the routine at the salt lake olympics he might have won. Lysacek too advantage of the system that awards more points for jumps in the second half of the program. Plushenko should have known this and make his program with more jumps in the second half. Its hard to jump in the second half because your legs are tired. thats why they give you more points in second half. Plushenko didnt want to change his old school program and thats why he lost. Also his choregraphy was terrible compared to Evans.

Lysacek! first of all, he skated WAY better. second, plushenko is a jerk! he has everything and thinks he deserves EVERYTHING! and im thinking- "hey, ever heard of Haiti? Im sure they would like a few of your billion dollars!"

It's a judged sport. The judges obviously thought Lysacek was better, end of story.

Nobody got screwed. The entire performance is judged, not just whether or not you do a quad.
