hello! i was wondering if you guys knew about some really good and danceable 1940s 50s, 60s, and 70s songs?

they need to be really energetic and danceable, and if possible, sounding a lot like their time period (for example, disco for seventies, etc). IF ITS NOT DANCEABLE, it can at least be a song that sounds a lot like its era (for example, "free bird" by lynyrd skynyrd for the 70s).

thanks a bunch guys, and please list as many for each era as you possibly can! especially 40s because i am sooohoho lost on that! i know more about songs from 50s and beyond, so forties is the hardest lol.

thanks again! <3

Danceable, by my definition isn't just a plodding (or frenetic) 4/4 so I've gone for songs that urge your hips to start swinging, hope that's what you wanted... I've purposely stayed away from explicit dance music, which is why I stop listing tracks at around 1975 when disco was in full swing.
