Help with Pi project?

I have to do a Pi project, we were not given an idea of shapes we could use, and I know pi has to do with circles, but creativity and thought has to go into this, so besides a cylinder, what other shapes are there that I could make?

Thanks and I am using my parents id.

Planar shapes: Ovals, sectors, chords of a circle, the volume under the sine function...

3-D shapes: Spheres, cylinders, ellipsoids, tori, and the volume of the sine function rotated about the x axis.

Also, unless you were limited to shapes there are many series that add up to Pi. For example:

    Pi/4 = 1 - 1/3 + 1/5 - 1/7 + ...

    Pi^2 / 6 = 1 + 1/4 + 1/9 + 1/16 + ...

    Pi/2 = (1*2)/(1*3) + (1*2*3)/(1*3*5) + (1*2*3*4)/(1*3*5*7) + ...
