What does a PFC mean? Is it a military rank or something?

and also, what does APO AE stands for?

    PFC= Private First Class. It's a rank (E-2 pay grade).

    (The joke to some is that it actually stands for "Perfect for Cleaning" or "Pointless f*cking Chevron")

    APO/FPO are parts of mailing addresses for overseas locations and stands for Army Post Office. FPO is Fleet Post Office.

    AE is Armed Forces Europe and AP is Armed Forces Pacific.
