In Texas you MUST be careful when you give a late payment for GEICO.
My due date was on the 25th of March but I couldn t give it till April 3rd because I was having problems with my bank. Anyways, I did my payment and now they are telling me that my payment is due on the 18th of April.? My payments have always been on the 25th of each month and I have never been behind on a payment till today. I asked why my payment moved to an earlier day and they told me, "We are just trying to make you catch up on your late payment" WHAT!? I asked Brent #175780, "How is that helping me catch up on my payment, if my payments are due on the 25th of each month?" he then stared telling me all this things, which is to much to type. XD From everything he told me I replied with this, "So, What you are basically telling me is, that if I do a late payment you guys are going to charge me earlier for the following month?" a simple yes or no question but he was trying to go around the question. I had to ask him again and told him it s just a simple yes or no question, he paused for a few seconds and said "Yes" I then let him know I can t do the payment on the 18th. He then told me that it was fine I can do the payment on the 25th. Now, given the situation of the late payment I just did I then asked him "Is this situation going to happen again for the month of May since your system is saying I m due on the 18th of April and I can t give that payment till the 25th?" he said, No, payments will be on the 25th of each month. Now, I m just going to have to wait and see if that s true.
