Linux driver for Linksys USB Network Adapter?

I have Ubuntu on a desktop computer (which also has Windows XP)in which the only way it can get access to the Internet is by USB Wireless adapters. try and plug it in to your router with a network cable. open up synaptic package manager, hit reload. When it's done, reboot. then click on system, administration, hardware drivers, and see if the wireless adapter shows up. If it does enable it. This works 99% of the time. If not, in the administration menu, you should see a menu item called ndiswrapper. You can use that to use the windows drivers for that adapter.

Please, go to a terminal and copy and paste the full output of this command:

lsusb


(copying and pasting in the terminal is very simple; select text to copy and middle-click (or click both mouse buttons if you don't have a middle button) to paste. You can also sometimes use Ctrl + Shift + C for copy and Ctrl + Shift + V for paste.




(Sorry, I made a mistake a minute ago, the command is lsusb, not lspci -nn)



This command LiSts all USB devices plugged into the computer and their special IDs which makes it a lot easier to find a Linux driver.
