Gifts From Enola - 'From Fathoms' is great. Quite varied music.
Irepress - 'Sol Eye Sea I'. This one's weird. It combines metal, post-rock, and some kind of electro-disco into a very interesting (and awesome) piece of music.
Giants - 'Old Stories'. Nothing too groundbreaking, but it's very luscious at times

look up Refugee, each and every Which way, uk, Quatermass, The Pirates. Episode Six, Vangelis and solo albums from individuals of bands like definite, King pink, the effective, Emerson, Lake and Palmer, the electric powered trouble-free Orchestra and The Moody Blues.
