what is the difference between toffee and caramel?

    Caramel is sweeter than Toffee.

    Toffee is made with sugar and butter.

    Toffee is much chewier than caramel.

    Caramel is softer than Toffee.

    They are both baked differently, thats why they taste differently.

    Caramel is made with caramelized sugar, while toffee can be made sugar but also contains molasses and butter which gives it its flavor.
