how do u fiand the area of a sector?

Formula for area of sector is:
area of sector / area of circle = angle of sector / 360 (which is angle of circle)
Asector = (pi*radius^2) * (angle / 360)
You should be able to solve now....but still....
A of sector = ( pi*8^2 ) * ( 54/360 )

the area of a whole circle is pi r^2
you have 54/360 times a whole circle's area

A = (54/360)π(8)² = 30.16 sq. cm

A= 1/2(r squared)(theta)
