Plastic plants can tear bettas fins. Live or silk plants are best. What plants you get depends on your water and lighting but make sure you buy actual aquatic ones. I hope your betta has a 5+ gallon heated and filtered aquarium.

Plastic can tear their fins. Try to get real aquatic plants, and aim for tall plants. Bettas stay near the surface and love tall plants, they also like to sleep on tall plants close to the surface.
