Can a 3year old female quaker parrot get a younger quaker companion, sex unknown?

You asked for advice. I am an experienced avian welfare adoption volunteer. As you may know an organization like ours can take in 100+ birds a year for many reasons.
Honestly it is not possible to know if your parrot will accept another as a companion. Never plan to get a parrot as a companion for another.
Getting another parrot should be for YOU first and foremost. A bonus is that they get along and end up companions. Go into it open minded and not to be disappointed for it doesn't work out for them. As you know parrot ownership is a big responsibility and two birds doubles everything you need to do.
I wish you nothing but the best of luck with your decision.
