I KNOW I wont get best answer for this....but instead of introducing more and more harmful chemicals just to make your raking easier....why not just cut the thing down? Its going to be far less harmless than using chemicals. It wont pester you by continuing its life cycle anymore, win win situation. If it wasn't for this tee (and all the others in time) and its DARN pine cones being able to produce like they can....you probably wouldn't even be here to find it annoying. Go ahead, call me a tree hugger and all...but I just find it odd that someone who lives here on Earth is willing to add to the problem of pollution over a few pine cones.
Yeah, I checked back knowing there was probably going to be a response to my answer. I asked for it, thats fine. You are MORE than entitled to your own opinion concerning my activities with the computer use and all. As for my contribution to the state of our environment....I live an almost completly sustainable life here with my family. We compost over 2/3 of our household waste, grow our own food and manage our livestock all while keeping in mind that its very hard NOT to have a negative impact on the natural world. I have a teen who NEEDS the computer to get through school. But my use of the technology has enabled me to do as much research as I can to REDUCE our impact as much as we can. If you had been interested in a treatment NOT using chemicals, you would have stated it clearly.....as most people who are concerned enough would have. My cause is a good casue, I know that. Its with in your right not to respect that, it will not change anything for me. I hope you find the treatment you are looking for to help you with your pine cones..Hopefully it ends up being an ORGANIC one, if there is even such a thing. ~Jenn~
