What happened on December 3-4, 2009, to warrant a Wikipedia traffic spike?
I'm talking about these page traffic details:
It's not likely a result of PR, since the most recent press release was 10-26-2009:

Also, "Retailer" has been fixed.
Note, also, I am interested in the spike in traffic on a specific 2-day period ON WIKIPEDIA, which has little to nothing to do with the content on the external website described by Wikipedia.

Its hard to know for sure but the most plausible explanation is that somebody posted a link to the article in a forum thread or some mailing list.
