problem with image html tag?

When i type the image html tag, <img scr="picture.png"> why does it not work?

But when i google for the tag, which is the exact same thing, then copy and paste it, it will work??

I do have the correct path to the image, but when i type it, it doesn't work...

when i copy and paste it does work?

    here is what youre computer is thinking "oh an image tag, okay I'll add an image, I'll add "picture.png"

    alright, I'll just look in the folder I found this html page in and look for "picture.png", okay, I give up, I can't find it", you see you can't just copy and paste, you have to understand, just put in the name of any image with it's file extension, and also if it isn't in the same folder as the html page then put ../ in front of it for every file it should go up, to go down a folder put folder_name/, where folder_name is the name of the folder

    you typed <img scr="jhasdf"> its img SRC="kjdhasfkjsd"

    it's <img src="filename.jpg"> - so it's SRC instead of SCR

    for a background pic i think that jpeg is the only surported file type

    idk some pages dont allow html
