The area of a sector is given by the equation A = ½r²θ, where θ is in radians.
Alternatively, if want θ in degrees, you could use the formula A = πr²(θ/360).
32° = 8π/45 rad
A = ½(8.5)²(8π/45) = 20.176
Make sure your calculator is in the appropriate mode.

Area=(m/360)*Pi*r^2
m= measurement of central angle
r= radius
(32/360)*π*8.5²=20.17600615
(32/360)*3.14*8.5²=20.16577778
hope this helped :]
