Can tropical marine fish live in a tank of human blood?

I read somewhere that most tropical marine fish can live in a tank of human blood - the pH and salinity are about the same as salt water. But how is this possible? Do fish's lungs even work in the same way as humans? Can they extract oxygen from the haemoglobin in the blood?
