sin city - vegas...!!!!!!!!!!!?

why is vegas called as SIN city..

is it just for fun..or any background behind it..

    Because any vices that you can think of are pretty much legal there. While in most of America prostitution is illegal, call girls are constantly walking around the casino, people hand out flyers on the street with numbers you can call so they go right to your hotel. Drinking is allowed in that city anywhere - the streets, cabs, hotels. Any other city it is illegal to have an open containter in public. Not to mention the gambling.

    Sin City is more of a nickname, but considering what you can do there, anything goes.

    Basically anything goes in Vegas, prostitution is illegal but goes on very openly in each casino, you can drink anywhere gambling is its life and most things are open 24hrs

    because there are many slu*s in there

    plus its all gambling x gambling
