Do you know any nice 'Jo-' names for a girl?

Yahoo! Answers baby namers have managed to convince me not to use Joey as a full first name for a girl. So, are there any uncommon girls names that can have the nickname Joey? I'm not too fond of Josephine either. Any help?

I believe that if that is what you truly want to name your daughter, DO IT. She is your daughter and no one on Yahoo! Answers should have any affect on what you ultimately name your children. If Joey is the name you want her to have, name her Joey. I see nothing wrong with it. There are all kinds of names that can be used in both genders. Like the men named Stacy or Jesse. Or women named Billie. But if you really feel you should change your mind because some people aren't accustomed to difference and individuality, You have names like:

    JoAnn

    Joanna

    JoeyLynn

    Jolan

    Jolie

    Joleen

    Joliana

    Jonie

    Josie

    Jovana

and many many more... Just search online girl names that start with J... Good luck!

Jolene and Joey would be a good nickname for that.

    Joley

JoNeal (not my fave, but it's my husbands grandmothers name she goes by Jo)

Johanna, Joanna and Joanne are the only ones that spring to mind. I did a search at thinkbabynames.com, but they were pretty whacky and I didn't like them at all. They might be more your style, but I'm not one to go suggesting names I dislike :)
