I've looked everywhere for a potential synonym for technology and cannot find one. The closest is "learned" which is probably not what you are looking for. And "learned" is as in "He was very precise and used learned means to find the answer."
Please note that "lay" is an antonym, not a synonym for technology.Source(s): Several online resources as well as an unabridged Roget's Thesaurus.
