Did Al Gore, Sr. vote against the 1964 Civil Rights Act?

What other Democrats voted against it?

    He and Byrd both voted against the bill. Check listed source. While both Democrats and Republicans voted for the bill, a higher percentage of Republicans in both the House and Senate voted for the bill then the percentage of Democrats. This fact seems to be lost to "history" somehow.

    Well Al tried to get freedom of speech banned in music. I guess they don't care about that right either. As long as they can get 12 abortions a year, on the govts. dime nothing else matters.
