I just saw the film 'A Christmas Carol' in the cinema.
I think it is simply a touching film which conveys to people that we should not be miserly and egocentric.
As the story unfolds, the main character, Ebenezer Scrooge, is consecutively visited by three spirits and shown visions of his own past, followed by the present events and the final consequences of his greed respectively. Scrooge sees in this future that he has died, though there is more comfort than grief in the wake of his death, men attending his funeral only seeing his death as good riddance. When he awakens to the real life, he realizes his mistakes and immediately sets out to be an approachable and generous old man, eventually turning out as a loved one. Scrooge as a weird old folk has a ugly look in the film, but there is no ugly scenes to speak of, let alone a horror film which scares your children off! It is quite suitable for your children and you may rest assured that they won't have nightmares after view! The finest presentation of Scrooge's cold and mean characters leaves a deep impression on its viewers. Its plot is well planned, triggering a series of stimulating scenes which could simply take your breath away throughout the story, and also contains some touching scenes. In short, this film is absolutely a great recommendation.Source(s): 自己
