List of your favorite books?

1. What are your all time favorite books in order from most favorite to least favorite?

2. What book would you recommend for a 16 year old girl? (I'm extremely intelligent, so i'm not interesting in a twilight book or anything too easy to read)

Well I read so many books I actually couldn't list their order. I love to read classics and romance novels. However...for some odd reason my all time favorite book is The Catcher in the Rye and then comes Pride and Prejudice.

But here are the ones I would suggest (I don't what grade you're in, but I've read these all throughout high school):

    The Count of Monte Cristo

    The Kiterunner

    Their Eyes Were Watching God

    The Awakening

    The Grapes of Wrath

    Wuthering Heights

    Things Fall Apart

    Romeo & Juliet

    Jane Eyre

    Frankenstein

    The Pack

    To Kill a Mockingbird

These are only a few but definitely try them...all great :)

    1. Harry Potter, Gemma Doyle, Watership Down, Rebecca, And Then There Were None, The Lord of the Rings, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Wuthering Heights,

    2. I recommend the classics: Watership Down, Wuthering Heights, The Great Gatsby, Ethan Frome (amazing and not all that long), Rebecca, Anna Karenina, Call of the Wild, The Color Purple, Count of Monte Cristo, Romeo and Juiliet, etc. They're classics for a reason!

    1. The Naming by Alison Croggon (1st in the Books of Pellinor)

Harry Potter by J. K Rowling

    Eragon by Christopher Paolini

The Golden Compass by Phillip Pullman (1st in His Dark Materials trilogy)

    The Hobbit by J. R. R. Tolkien

    Beauty by Sherri S. Tepper

A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray (1st in the Gemma Doyle Trilogy)

The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold

    Just Listen by Sarah Dessen

The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin

this is just the top 12, but it could go on forever!

    2. Out of my list I would recommend Beauty, Ender's Game, Pride and Prejudice, The Golden Compass (the 2nd & 3rd books get mote complex), and The Naming simply because it is my favorite book in the world.

Source(s): I'm 16, too, and while some of these books I first read years ago I still read and love them today :)

  • Uncle John's Bathroom Readers are great if you like totally random facts.

You could try Abarat by Clive Barker... it's really good, fantasy style, but it's odd too.

City of Bones, The Host instead of Twilight... There's lots of good books out there if you just look.
