Help with assembler program?

hi, i am trying to learn assembly and i have to do a program that sorts all alphabet, first capitals then small letters, with only one cycle (ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklm…

it is a normal intel dual core notebook win vista x86 acpi.

and anyway, i doubt there are any differences form cpu to cpu using the mov, loop inc and jz commands, because those are the only ones i use.

Code the program up in C first, Then when you have it working use gcc -S to generate assembly source. You can then use this "as is" or optionally refine it further if you need to.

    Source(s): % man gcc
