The undergraduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences mentioned by Lili is actually very good for working at Pharmaceutical companies. Several schools have degrees like that.
It really depends on what you want to do in a Pharmaceutical company. Research? Manufacturing? Sales/Marketing? General Management?
Another good option is a Bachelor's degree in Bioprocess Engineering or Chemical Engineering, combined with a Master's in Pharmaceutical Engineering.Source(s): http://www.pharmacy.buffalo.edu/psci_bs.shtml http://www.tecs.ecu.edu/departments/engineering/cu... http://catalog.njit.edu/graduate/programs/pharmace...

What do you want to do for such companies?
I have a relative who earned her undergraduate degree in Pharmacy at Purdue and got an entry-level job at Merck after graduation. She later returned to school and earned an MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and then went back to Merck as a middle manager.
Are you interested in research? Management? You'll have to decide before you can determine what to study. You may need a graduate degree, too.
