Why isn't there daily 'protection' for the penis?

Dogs and animals have sheaths for their genitals and keeps it in a fixed place when running, jumping, etc; and keeps the genital preserved and unrevealed to the public. Why isn't this for humans?

    uncircumcised men have a sheath.

i would guess, it is because of different designs. humans are upright, and more maneuverable, meaning we can protect are penis with our hands or by avoiding the object.

did you know pigs have a corkscrew like penis, and cats have spikes that stab the vagina when they ejaculate?

Because those things don't damage human penises. The sheaths have nothing to do with modesty btw. Evolution does not work that way.
