    Slope PF = (1 + 3) / (-5 +1) = 4/4 = 1

    Slope ST = (2 + 2) / (-2 + 2) = 4/4 = 1

Those two are parallel since they have the same slope.

    Slope PS = (1 - 2) / (-5 + 2) = 1/3

    Slope FT = (-3 + 2) / (-1 - 2) = 1/3

Those two are parallel since they have the same slope.

With the two pairs of opposite sides each being parallel,

the quadrilateral is indeed a parallelogram.
