I prefer uncircumcised, and I've actually been with both so my opinion is not biased. There's a better feeling (for both of us) when the guy is uncircumcised. The foreskin sliding back and forth feels great, and I like knowing my guy has all the parts he was born with. It's not unclean like some people think.

Most girls tend not to care, and if girl dumps you because you're uncircumcised, then she's obviously too shallow to be worth your time anyways.

Remember, you can get circumcised anytime throughout your life if you choose to do so. But once circumcised, you can NEVER go back. So make absolutely sure that you want a circumcision before you do it. I encourage you not to though as there's no reason...if it's not broke don't fix it. You'll also lose tons of sexual sensitivity.

Don't get circumcised just because your friends are. If they were doing drugs would you start doing that? Nahh. Remember, you have a choice with your body. They don't. That's one of the many things that's good about being uncircumcised.

LMAO! You're telling me that if a circumcised men has horrible hygiene he'll STILL have a clean penis? No, genital cleanliness is due to personal hygiene, not what body parts are cut off and which parts off. Not to mention, we don't circumcise our daughters so they're cleaner.

Girls that don't know much may say they care, but they really don't. Women that know what it is all about are said to prefer natural. However, in the US most guys were cut, although that is changing.

Girls don't reject you (and will not laugh at you) because of the NATURAL state of your penis. I was born in the 60s and I am somehow natural (thanks MOM). Most boys were cut (although in college I was shocked that 3 out of 5 of my poker buddies said they were NATURAL). I had no issues. In fact in the late 70s when I dated in HS, I think hippie chicks thought that a natural guy was a real find, something special. In the 80s, I was surprised that women I dated for a short time and had sex with a condom on did not know I was natural. It looks the same erect and it feels the same to them with a condom on. With a condom off, they say it feels better. You are in a better situation as much fewer boys were cut in the last 14 years and the cut rate is falling like a stone. In NYC is under 50% for the time since at least the 50s.

Don't throw away the natural parts, you may want them. The foreskin is not just skin and does not just protect the glans(head). Circumcision is now known to ablate the most sensitive parts of the male genitals. This surgery takes away the main male pleasure zones with about 20000 fine touch and stretch nerve endings amputated. The foreskin has several parts including the ridged band that is great for ones pleasure (that is why nutters like Kellogg wanted to chop em off, to curtail masturbation), Masturbation is important for a mans physical and mental health. The ridged band directly contacts the vagina for very great pleasure all around. The dynamics of sex and the actual mechanism of the penis are drastically changed by circumcision. The foreskin can normally be slipped all the way, or almost all the way, back to the base of the penis, and also slipped forward beyond the glans. This wide range of motion is the mechanism by which the penis and the orgasmic triggers in the foreskin, frenulum, and glans are stimulated. The only touch organ possessing as rich erogenous innervation as the foreskin is the clitoris. Circumcision deprives man of 2/3ds of the main erogenous zone constituted of the foreskin and the glans.

Well most men in America are circumcised but who gives a crap? Everyone is different in some way no matter how much you try to change it. You probably won't remember these friends names in 10 years so why does it matter if you have a penis like theirs?

A mature girl won't care at all.

It doesn't really matter what girls do and don't like you shouldn't be getting circumcised for that reason.

Circumcision removes a TON of nerve endings and removes mosto f the function of the penis. I have felt both sides (unfortunatly). Circumcision removes half your sensitivity. Why would you do that just so a few shallow girls that you will meet in your life will like your penis better. In the end your wife will love you no matter what so changing yourself to satisfy a minority in the population makes no sense. Also you don't make decisions based on that... that's childish.

Circumcision takes a lot away from sex but you have to realise this surgery costs around $3,000+ these days.... I wanna see you try to get your parents to pay for it because it's not covered by any insurance.

No you shouldn't get circed. There are many negative consequences of circumcision. Here is some information on why it is not advised to circumcise a baby:

Have a watch of this 20 minute video by the nocirc organisation. It is very informative:

    Youtube thumbnail

In regards to care. Care is a lot easier with intact, non-circumcised boys as there is nothing to do. The foreskin is unretractable in infancy so it should be left alone. No cleaning under it or pulling it back is required. This medical page explains further:

Circumcised boys actually require a lot more care.

Firstly, all newly circumcised boys are in discomfort because there is an open wound. The wound is susceptible to infection. It can also become irritated by ammonia in the urine - which provides more discomfort for the baby.

One common problem is a skin-bridge. The skin left over after the foreskin is severed can re-attach to another part of the penis resulting in an adhesion (see link below for picturesof this and other complications). Very little of this is told to you. Do you really want all this hassle when there is no need for it?

(Look around the circumstitions site - it has a wealth of information.)

The psychological effects of circumcision are open to dispute, but I cannot imagine them being anything other than negative. It certainly won't help you bond with your child - especially in those crucial early months:

(Look around the cirp site- it has a wealth of information.)

The foreskin serves a sexual purpose. The negative sexual effects are rarely mentioned or worse, denied. Circumcision removes a functioning part of the penis. Many circumcised men do not even know what they have lost - especially in the USA where it can be a taboo topic - what with men having fragile egos and all.

As someone with a foreskin, I value it. It contains many specialized nerves on it's underside. When the foreskin is moved up and down it is very pleasurable and prompts the release of all sorts of feel-good hormones. Circumcised men cannot masturbate as easily as there is no gliding effect. If they try it without an artificial lubricant then it may chafe , become red and sore. I think this is terrible - to worsen the sexual lives of someone without their consent. This site shows the movement of the foreskin in masturbation (graphic). It also contains a 20 minute video on the function of the foreskin:

Without the foreskin protecting the glans, circumcised men lose further sensitivity. The glans (head of the penis) dries out. It also brushes on underwear which causes the skin to toughen -sort of like when you walk bear feet - the skin hardens. This page shows pictures (graphic):

There are good reasons to believe that sex is better for the woman as well, if the man has his foreskin intact: This site is an educational one on why it is better for both partners to be intact (graphic):

Men in Britain, Ireland, France, Germany and Italy, along with the rest of Europe don't get circumcised and they all do as good if not better than countries where circumcision is more common. So all in all it is best to be as nature intended. No medical association actually recommends non-therapeutic infant circumcision. Check out this site for frequently asked questions:

Here is some other information you might find useful:

History: Non-religious circumcision only started in English-speaking countries in the late 1800's. The main reason was to prevent masturbation. More info can be found at this at this site:

    Rates of circumcision:

Circumcision rates have dropped in the USA to 60%.

In Canada and Australia the rate has dropped to less than 10%. In Britain the rate is less than 1%. Only 20-25% of the world are circumcised, 2/3 of these are Muslim.

The only reason why your buddies say that is because they are cut and want to make themselves believe that they are better than a complete man. Circumcision is no longer very common in Canada. The rate is around 20% of boys are circumcised. Stop listening to what your friends have to say and taking it so seriously. -Connor

The fact that many of your friends have been brutalized and mutilated is no reason to have it done to you. If most of your friends were multiple amputees would you be considering getting your arms and legs chopped off? I doubt it, but you're considering circumcision - probably because you have no idea what the foreskin does.

The foreskin is not just an extra flap of skin. It is an entire mechanism, including skin, muscle, mucous membrane and supporting structures. Cutting it off cripples the penis, destroying a large part of it, including the penis's only moving part, making the whole organ incapable of ever functioning the way nature intended and making sexual intercourse that much more difficult.

If a woman laughs at your penis when you pull it out, she is as ignorant as you were before you read this. Heck, the foreskin is there in part to PROTECT the woman's vagina during sex - any woman who prefers a circumcised penis is an idiot.

Mass ignorance and stupidity are not 'reasons' to get circumcised. On the contrary, these are reasons to stay intact.

Female circumcision of minors is illegal because it's genital mutilation.

Male circumcision is more extensive genital mutilation than female circumcision; it's neural and vascular damage to the penis.

Females who think that males should be circumcised and females shouldn't be are irrational and lacking in intelligence. They're unreasonably prejudiced.

You're whole, complete and normal. Most of the males in the world aren't mutilated by circumcision, as most of the females in the world aren't either.

Circumcision is a fraud and a hoax.

A foreskin is not a birth defect; it is a birthright.

Adult circumcision is an extremely destructive operation that severs blood vessels, nerves, and other tissue. The amputation excises the most sexually sensitive part of the penis.

There are many possible adverse outcomes, including total loss of the penis and even death.

Complications include hemorrhage, infection, and surgical accident.

The recovery period is usually painful and takes about six weeks.

The cost is about US$2,500 to US$3,000. Your insurance may or may not pay for it, because it is non-therapeutic. They may consider it to be cosmetic surgery.

The sensitive head of your penis will be permanently exposed to friction on clothing and there will be nothing to cover it.

You will have to alter your method of masturbation.

Adult circumcision is outmoded as a treatment for phimosis.

Many men later regret their decision to be circumcised because of the loss of so much sexual sensation.

I have been in your shoes too. Girls prefer circumcised guys and by the way you should ignore most of the advice from someone without a penis when it comes to circumcision.

I got circumcised in my fifties. I should have had it done in my teens. best thing i ever did. If you cant retract your foreskin, thats a good reason to get circumcised also.

Most girls do prefer circumcised men. There are also a lot of health benefits to being circumcised,

no cancer of the penis, less stds, uri's hiv and hpv.

Less chance of infecting girls also.

here are some sites for more info. have your parents look at these sites

Why would you want it done? It's painful, expensive and unnecessary. Does it really matter if your penis is like your friends? That's a bit weird!

Girls shouldn't mind, if any laugh, laugh at their own bits and then dump them horribly immediately. But I've never been with a circumcised guy, and I like the natural state!
