I've seen them at Wal Mart, CVS and Kmart before. The best socks I have ever used are ones that have NO cotton in them. I have a highly active job and the socks combined with the new shoes were absolutely perfect. No blisters whatsoever.

Incidentally, I know a few people who have tried those "diabetic" shoes and they tell me that they aren't worth it. "Super soft" shoes aren't going to help me at all when I spend 10 hours a day on concrete flooring. If you are looking for a pair of shoes, go to a local run/walk shop and get fitted for them. Pricey but WELL worth it.

Whilst support socks are useful, I would recommend you wear special super soft shoes for diabetes patients. (Any orthopedic store has got them). Also check your feet and legs daily for infection.

Up here in Canada, you can buy them at Sears so you could check your Sears store there.
