Best Answer:
1) From the Menu bar at the top of your firefox window, click "Tools" then select "Options".
2) In the "Options" dialog box, at the top of it, click the "Main" tab to select it (if it is not already selected).
3) In the "Downloads" section, look for "Save files to" field. It should show where is the folder your downloads are downloaded to.
4) If you want to change the location of the your downloads location for next time you download, click on the "Browse" button then select a folder and click OK (say you select "Desktop")
5) click OK again.
Firefox new default location for downloads is "Downloads" folder that is located in "My Documents" if you have Windows XP or in your ((user folder)) if you have Windows Vista.
