What is this movie about a teen girl dating?

Question

A father works at a radio station whose ratings keep going down. He gets a book by a self proclaimed expert about raising teen girls. It starts to become a mess until he figures out the author doesn't have any kids of his own. At the end of the movie, when the younger daughter starts to date, he decides to ignore the advice from the book.
