Fx + Fy = Z I need to group the F variables alone on the LHS?

I realise this equation can't be solved as it stands. I just need to know how to manipulate the equation so that the F variable is alone on the LHS. i.e. 2F = ____ or F = _____.

Any ideas...?

    U can take F outside the LHS by

    F(x+y)= Z

    then cross multiply

    F = Z / (x+y)

    Edit: And u cannot add the F terms coz the variables are different.. i.e u'll never get 2F.. You would if u had Fx + Fx ~ that would be 2Fx but Fx+Fy cannot be changed ~ except the above answer :D
