LARRY MOSS STUDIO ACTING CLASSES?

Can someone tell me if you can get private coaching from one of the instructors at Larry Moss Studio? Where is the Studio located at? Is this a legit business? I have looked at the website and googled it too. It seems pretty legit. I am trying to find an acting coach that when I go to an audition they will be like wow, okay I know this person. Kinda like when you go to a college and put it on your resume everyone knows Harvard or Yale...so can anyone tell me some legit and professional acting coaches? Also Talent Agencies. I would like one that will work with me individually, and get me good auditions for tv and stuff. Is anyone with the agency CESD????

Larry Moss wrote one of the best books on acting called, "Intent to Live" and is one of the top acting coaches. HOWEVER, his school is NOT up to par with his reputation. Larry Hardly teaches there and the person who does, Michelle Danner, has some mixed reviews. She might be an amazing private acting coach, but she's not very good as a group teacher.

Here are the best schools in LA:

    -Margie Haber

    -Brian Reise

    -Amy Lyndon

Scene Study/Acting (It varies. Some schools are not for everyone. Chubbuck, Eric Morris, and Howard Fine are not for people who aren't fans of Strasberg or Uta Hagen (ie. affective memory and substitution.) Playhouse West, Joanne Baron/DW Brown, and Acting Corps are more Meisner oriented. Try to audit these places and make sure if they're for you or not.

    -Doug Warhit

    -Kimberly Jentzen

    -Beverly Hills Playhouse

    -Howard Fine
