The meaning of "She's all my fancy painted him"?
It's the first line of "She's all my fancy painted him" by Lewis Carroll. But what is the exact meaning of it? Thank you.

It means, "she's everything I thought he'd be"...yes, this is a nonsense poem, which is something Carroll is famous for writing...so there are no typos here, it literally means what it says, that "she" was everything I thought "he'd" be. This is similar to "one bright day in the middle of the night" type of poem.Source(s): Editor, New Poets Press
