Obama on Saturday urged Congress to hold off?
There were Senate Hearings on the 1993 WTC attack, the African Embassies Bombings, the U.S.S. Cole attack, and the 9/11 attack. Why shouldn't there be Senate Hearings on the Hasan attack.
Obama has authorized DoD Investigations and possibly a separate Army Investigation, but these will be internal investigations not subject to transparency.
Why is Obama afraid of a public discussion of the Hasan "attack'?
What issue/s is he afraid of?
1. this is an act of terrorism!
2. this is an act of treason!
Article III Section 3 "...treason was specifically defined in the United States Constitution, the only crime so defined."
The Constitution does not itself create the offense; it only restricts the definition , permits Congress to create the offense, and restricts any punishment for treason to only the convicted.
"The crime is prohibited by legislation passed by Congress. Therefore the United States Code at 18 U.S.C. § 2381 states "whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason"
It's time Congress did get involved if for no other reasen, to address this issue!
