Even if the bag was "sealed" you can get teeny tiny little weevils, thrips, and moth larvae in there. You just never know how good the seal is, even if you think it's airtight. I have had problems with all three, seeing as I live out in the sticks and bugs are everywhere, even when you have a very clean house. Also, as somebody else stated, they could have been in there already and nobody would even know it. I would toss your pasta into the trash. I don't think it would necessarily hurt you to eat the bugs, but I don't take chances! As for getting rid of them, I would clean out the pantry really well with some multi-purpose cleaner, throw out anything that doesn't look right (check your flour, sugar, shortening, veg. oil, baking soda, etc.) Seal everything in airtight containers or zipper bags, and keep an eye on them!
