AS Biology help with cell signalling please?
I have to complete the gaps in this passage for my biology homework about cell signalling and receptors. I've searched all over the net and in text books but I am struggling to understand :( Can you help me fill in these spaces?
The receptor may form an ion channel. for example, the transmitter substance acetylcholine is released by nerve cells at a (space). at the membrane of the next nerve cell, it binds to a receptor and causes (space) ions to flood into the second cell, starting a new nerve impulse.
Any help really appreciated!!!

ACh is released by nerve cells at a SYNAPSE
it causes SODIUM ions to flood into the second cell (and potassium flows out).
Hope that helps
