Which first name sounds better with the middle name Dorris?

Which name sounds better with the middle name Dorris (which WILL stay, regardless of whether or not anyone else likes it.):

Ada Dorris or Lindsey Dorris?

You are welcome to suggest other first names as long as they use Dorris as a middle name.

I definitely prefer Lindsey Dorris. Ada and Dorris are both quite old-fashioned sounding names, so when they're paired together, the name has a very old-fashioned feel to it. Lindsey Dorris sounds a little more modern, and the name also flows a lot better than Ada Dorris - there are too many D sounds in the name. :]

I like Dorris. I would go with Ada Dorris just because they are both traditonal. Lindsey is a little to modern for Dorris.

    I would suggest:

    Angelina Dorris

    Audrey Dorris

    Eloise Dorris

    Imogene Dorris

Lucinda Dorris (Lucy) my personal fav :-)

Both names are good, but Ada Dorris is more unique. Another thought:

    Vesta Dorris

    Victoria Dorris

    Shayla Dorris

    Good luck!

  • Lindsey Dorris!

I don't care for the "Ay-da-door" sound of Ada Dorris. Ava would work, but Ada definitely does not. Lindsey Dorris is adorable. :)

Both Ada & Lindsey are beautiful names and match well with Dorris, but I think Lindsey Dorris sounds the best!

What a lovely choice! My Nan was called Doris! I think Ava Dorris sounds better as they are both more traditional names where as Lindsey is very modern.
