答案為(a) 為何? 感覺每各答案都可以用呢。

答案為(c) 為何? 只知道 they 後用-ed 然後就不知怎分辨 b 和 c了。

答案為(b) 為何(C)不行? in a hurry和in haste不是可以互通嗎?

答案為(d) 為何呢? 用The lesson當主詞用不是可用被動?還是我完全搞錯了。

我打錯了 >_<

我要說的是,The lesson 是被排的 (被排課) 所以答案會變成 (c)

但是答案為(a) 所以我很疑惑~~~

第2題:

介系詞用WITH..(被....)表前面的動詞是被動語氣..所以要用過去分詞compared;被拿來和....比較;表示被動。

compare (v) 意為比較,對照時,後面要加 with ,ex: Compared with him, I'm a bungler.

(與他相比,我只能算是一個笨拙的人)

(d) compared (d)的答案要不是要變成 is/was compared 才符合被動語態。

但是兩位英文專家,卻都沒說到,請問我是哪裡搞混了。 謝謝~

everybody 和 everyone 後用單數動詞,但在口語中常接複數代名詞。

ex: Everybody/everyone loves their own country.

鴉片玫瑰 ( 初學者 5 級 )說:

c.look up to ... 尊敬某人...(看起來好像沒錯..但everybody是每個人,表複數...look不能加s)

請問Everybody正確接的動詞為何呢?

本來自己想去找,但是不太相信自己找資料的能力,又怕找錯。

    1. A: Did you hand him the letter yesterday?

    B: No, I ____ to him

    譯: 你昨天有把那封信交給他嗎?

    不,我寄給他了。

    ■ have 這個字除了有" 擁有"的意思外,也有" 將,把…" 的意思; had 就是它的過去式,因為" 已經寄出了"。

    had it sent to him 就是說你把它用寄的寄給他了。

    信是被你寄的,所以是被動式= be + p.p(過去分詞)

    send(原形)-->sent(過去式)--->sent (過去分詞)

    (b)took it 是拿走的意思。

    (c)brought it brought(bring 原形) 是帶來,拿來。

    (d)carried it carried (carry 原形)

    是(用手、肩等)挑,背,提,扛,搬的意思。

    2.The US has developed into a modern nation in a very short time ____ with many other countries.

    答案為(d) 為何呢?

    譯: 和其它國家相較美國在短時間內已發展成現代化的國家。

    compare (v) 意為比較,對照時,後面要加 with ,

    * 因為已經作了比較且是被比較,所以加ed表被動語態。

    譯: 在講英語系的國家,莎士比亞這個名字是眾所周知的; 幾乎所有人都知道。

    English-speaking countries 是分詞作形容詞用,表" 講英語"的"國家"。

    * 由人所描述 所以是 English-speaking, 如果是為人所講才是 spoken

    -spoken (用以構成複合(形容詞)具…說話特點的; 表示" 說話…的"

    例: He is a shy soft-spoken person.

    (他害羞,說話輕聲細語的)

    a quietly spoken man (說話斯文的男人)

    blunt-spoken (說話率直的)

    in face of a known 面對已知的

    in face of 面臨,因為是(人)已知的,所以用 known,

    ex: He is a known artist. (他是一個知名的藝術家)

    * 因為是為人所知悉的,所以用 過去分詞 作形容詞用(表被…)

    * 建議你重新研讀一下形容詞 -ed 和 -ing 的用法。

    6. The dying man wished to see his _____ son, who was far away from home.

    (a)beloved (b)beloving (c)having been beloved (d)having beloved

    答案為(a) 為何呢? 也是毫無頭緒。

    譯: 那將死的男人想要見他遠離家門的那個心愛的兒子。

    beloved ( 與代名詞所有格連用,作稱呼語)

    心愛的(人)

    這句意思合得上,所以答案自然就是它囉。

    regard as 把…視為

    look down on【俚語】輕視; 鄙視; 瞧不起

    (c)everybody looks up to him. 每個人都很尊敬他

    意思也與句意不合。

    look up to 【俚語】尊敬;敬仰

    (d)he died the richest man in the country.

    他以那國家最富有的人之姿死去,也與句意不合。

    連繫動詞

    這種動詞與後接的述語一起表述主語的特徵

    或狀態。述語可以是形容詞、名詞、副詞或介詞片語等。

    (b) very much are interested = 主詞+be+interested 表示對什麼有興趣,

    與句意的發展不合。

    (c) become much interested 變得比較有興趣,

    因為是某物使他們變的感興趣所以是interested 而不是"interesting"。

    in a hurry 匆忙地

    written in a hurry 信是在很匆忙地情況下寫完的,

    也就是說沒有足夠的時間去修正或修飾用詞

    hurry 強調動作的雜亂無章。

    in haste 急忙地; 慌張地

    關於第七題的動詞單複數問題:

    (c)everybody looks up to him.

    everybody 與 everyone 同義,

    everybody 和 everyone 後用單數動詞,但在口語中常接複數代名詞。

    在我的字典裡也找個一個例句:

    The letter had clearly been written in haste.

    (這封信明顯是在匆忙中寫的)

    按道理說,這個答案也可以…

    assigned在句中是過去分詞當形容詞用,例:

    He can't even understand a letter written in plain English.

    * 句中的 written 也是過分詞當形容詞用,

    這又要說到分詞構句…

    (c)had been assigned 如果用這個答案,前後句子時態不符,

    文法錯誤。

    ing 形式可當名詞用(即動名詞)或當形容詞用(即現在分詞)。

    如果是 assigning ,那麼他在句中相當是主詞的位置。

    The lesson againing this moring is an unusually long one.

    將The lesson againing this moring 此名詞片語作為主詞,

    ex: Richard's going abroad did not suprise us.

    (= That Richard went abroad did not surprise us.)

    建議你看一下文法ing 形式的用法。

    (七)分詞的問題

    1. 答案為(a) 為何呢?完全不懂 &amp;gt; &amp;lt;

    題意是 你親手將信在昨天交給他了嗎?

    答案只有A&quot;寄給他&quot;可以歸類在否定類...B,C,D都是要經過自己交付的意思

    2.答案為(d) 為何呢?也完全不懂 &amp;gt; &amp;lt;

    這裡介系詞用WITH..(被....)表前面的動詞是被動語氣..所以要用過去分詞compared&quot;被拿來和....比較&quot;表示被動

    3. 答案為(c) 為何呢? 記憶中好像不是a 就是b啊~~

    這裡沒有為什麼...因為...英語系國家..就是 English-speaking countries

    答案為(d) 為何呢? 用The lesson當主詞用不是可用被動?還是我完全搞錯了。

    答案d確實是被動的啊...後面接的be動詞 is是現在進行式的...表示現在還在這個課堂上,所以用現在簡單式的被動語態

    5. 答案為(a) 為何呢? 毫無頭緒。

    這裡先用刪去法,把不合時態的去掉,因為單位&quot;a&quot;都放在know前面..所試試把known和knowing的意思差別了解,a known financial loss 一次已經知道的金融損失

    a knowing financial loss,這個不對 如果要用knowing 的話.要改成 knowing a financial loss當了解一次金融損失解釋,但這裡只有一種擺法..所以先去掉V-ing的時態

    再來了解 in face of面對;面臨,和 in despite of任憑;儘管對語意上的差異

    這裡文法上屬倒裝句,所以實際語意為,

    出版商發行了他的書來面對一次已經知道的金融風暴

    出版商發行了他的書,儘管一次已經知道的金融風暴...這個不合邏輯...刪掉

    最後答案就是a....

    6. 答案為(a) 為何呢? 也是毫無頭緒。

    his______son...單單看這裡就好了..his 是所有格後面要接名詞son已經是名詞,所以要放的是一個修飾&quot;son&quot;的字或詞..c 和d先去掉...這裡在his後面修飾語不應該有have出現,不合語意不合文法= =(當然..這是我覺得,有錯誤還請指正..呵)

    belove意思是&quot;被愛的&quot;,後面接 of(by) somebody,但這裡a和b都沒有介系詞,所以son是被動的只能用簡單式的被動語態beloved

    答案為(a) 為何? 感覺每各答案都可以用呢。

    這裡不是意思的正確與否,而是很正規的文法和片語的考驗,

    a. regard ...as...將...視為...

    b.look down upon...瞧不起....(題目中寫的是look down on)

    c.look up to ... 尊敬某人...(看起來好像沒錯..但everybody是每個人,表複數...look不能加s)

    d.died 死亡的過去式...(這裡因die為不及物動詞..後面要有介系詞才能補充主詞

    如he died to be the richest man in the country才能成為一個完整的句子)

    所以答案是a

    often表常態性所以句子不是當下如何...而是常如何如何...所以只能用簡單式,不用管語意了.把加了be動詞的都去掉吧...

    剩下a和c...a. they often become very interestin(小朋友們經常變得很吸引人,小朋友不吸引人,是新的事物很吸引小朋友,所以這裡不對)

    c.(they often become much interested小朋友們常變得很有興趣)

    答案出來囉~是c

    第7題.查了一下,如chichi所說..everybody=everyone,表單數,動詞這裡要用單數表達.,只是語意上的差異

    Born in a poor family,no one can look down on him.

    Born in a poor family, everybody looks up to him.

    連結起來真的會有點莫名奇妙.

    d.裡面...Born in a poor family,He died the richest man in the country.

    皆郭.文法上是對的耶.生在貧窮家庭,他死時是這國家裡最有錢的人..

    這在語意上有錯嗎?我也想知道說..

    compare 這個單字的用法像這樣2種

    A compared with/to B

    Compare A with/to B

    這裡可以很明顯的看出主動者和被動者的差異

    兩句的語意雖然都是一樣的,...但是動詞在主動和被動的選擇就不一樣了

    這我在看完chichi的回答後,已經確定是我的認知錯嚕..everybody是個單數,在文法上沒有錯誤
