Why do indian people smell bad?

This is not a racist question, before you start... I am asking this because i have noticed throughout my whole life that many, many indian people just smell really bad... I go to university and i cant go to the cafeteria because the whole place STINKS I cant breathe.I know its not just me because others have...

Once you get to travel more you will find that it isn't the Nationality or the ethnicity that really decides on the odour.

There are racial differences but they are tiny compared with th eone major factor that tends to make a person smell bad to another.

DIET!

What we eat often causes changes in our natural body odour. As you might expect those around us will tend not to notice gradual changes so we rarely notice the change in our loved ones.

My wife is Chinese, she loves Garlic. Myself, I detest the smell of Garlic.

Providing she only eats a small amount each week I don't even notice it. However, every so often she will cook up a dish that is so redolent I can't escape. Usually the smell reduces as I become accustomed to it.

Many people from certain areas eat particular spices or herbs as a part of their diet. If you were exposed long enough you will become anosmic to the smell. In some places the spice consumed is far more than others.

I'm white, a good pal of mine is African. I once asked him if I smell to him. He explained that I did! That was a shock to me. I don't eat any particular spices so I expected that I would not smell different. All he could say was 'Well YOU asked ;]'

I learned through that and by asking my friends [many from various cultures and origins] that we do indeed smell different even without the spices, however, those strong smells are so far all diet related.

There appears to be a hormonal link too, as female friends often find I smell different to them at different times of the month. It isn't cleanliness related from what I see as I apparently can stink even straight out of the bath!

Many years ago, a delightful indian girl loved across from us explained that it is very much the spices and curries they consume. It comes through their pores and creates that "Indan smell" that takes a lifetime to get out of your clothes, furniture and carpets.

My wife and I live in a second floor apartment. A large indian family recently moved in below us. The stench is stifling. The smell when they are cooking is hit or miss (we love Indian food, so it is not so bad). But the after effects are devastating. They also leave their sliding door and curtain open all day and night, so there is no relief. We have remedied the situation by covering our balcony with citronella candles. It did the trick for the most part, though at this point, the damage has been done. The particular family is cold and arrogant, resulting in neighborhood friction.

But here in America there are well-to-do Indians who smell just plain B.A.D. So can't blame it on being poor or sleeping in rough surroundings. It's like they've not bathed or showered. Most of the Indian people I have passed smell this way, even the women who should know better. A smell like that is offensive. Maybe they don't know they smell because they are so used to smelling in on themselves? It's NOT a food smell either. It's BO.

What's up, I work with Indians and Bengalis. As a matter of fact their smell is really bad to me. Sometimes I have to sit next to them as my job requires working with them and I can't help breathing through my mouth the whole time. I have no explanation why they smell like that. I know how people smell when they are sweaty and haven't bathed for a couple of days, but Indians smell differently, yet I also noticed that they don't bathe regularly and their community do not care for this ,so they don't care.
One I had an Indian teammate who's face smell like really bad, since the time he arrived at my country until he left it, his smell never changed except one time when I took him aside and explained to him that everyone around is really annoyed by you odor and that's why they treat you bad and you have to bathe daily. He promised to take care of that, and came the other day all clean, Unfortunately, it only lasted for one day and then he was back to his lack of hygiene until he left my country after that my team manager sacked him.

When an indian comes out from the bathroom, he or she doesn't smell! This is what I know, because I lived with an indian family, a couple of years ago. My believe is that, some of them, don't take a bath as they should (once a day!).

Because Indian people cannot stop having sex as its their only fav activity. And they often do not bathe as they are very poor and as you may know the most a poor man can have fun with is sex as he cannot afford to go to a public fun park to have fun. So now you know why Indian people smell like ****, its because their country does not have any laws about 2nd children and still the population keeps on rising so what you expect? For every one to be clean? Ok LOL DREAM ON.

Every Indian POS smells like dump as his country just wont standup to its population problem.

Simple as that.

As per my experience, washing and cleaning is not the answer to their smells. its inside in them, the stinky smell is so bothering me I can't even eat the whole day. When I come home my wife said to me why i feel bad. I kept silent, she then keep asking and I have to tell her that "indian was near to me today" I am so much allergic of their stinky mouth smell. Whenever they want to speak with me I wear a mask. ashhhhheeeee so BAD really bad Stinky indians EKH TUUUUUUU

What you smell is curry. Why you smell it is because many Indians aren't into daily hygiene. I work with many H1B's from India, and many of the new arrivals reek like dog food. Someone evidently pulls them aside and lets them know that if they want to work in America, they need to bathe daily and wear clean clothes every day.

Indians smell extremely bad and always will, I dont care if I have an odor to them, I do not give a F, all I know is that the smell like sheet to me and always will, call me racist or whatever you want, you indians smell like dog sheet and FU

Most of the indians smell bad cause 40 per cent of them are extremely poor they feed on filyh and sleep over garbage
