Do you think the health care bill will pass with exactly 218 votes or do you think Pelosi can get more?

And, according to the Cook Political Report http://www.cookpolitical.com/charts/house/competit... 10 Democrats are in toss-up elections in 2010. How do you think they will vote?

Bobby Bright of Alabama

Betsy Markey of Colorado

Alan Grayson of Florida

Walter Minnick of Idaho

Frank Kratovil of Maryland

Travis Childers of Mississippi

Harry Teague of New Mexico

Steve Driehaus of Ohio

Mary Jo Kilroy of Ohio

Tom Perriello of Virginia

Update:

Do you realize that Pelosi would not schedule a vote if she wasn't confident she could get to 218. And just because it passes the House doesn't mean it becomes law. It has to pass the Senate, where Reid is much less confident that he can get to 60.

Who Knows? This is a charade of infinite proportions. Health Care Reform is a National Emergency. Mainstream America must awaken from the lullaby of legislators and CEO's who claim to function in the best interest of the General Public. It is obvious to everyone except the LEGISLATORS and CEO's that the urgency of special interests to capitalize on the lack of care is what is really being debated in congress.

This will really be a "wake up call" when people realize that after all this time and effort, even people who think they have good health coverage will discover otherwise when the claims are submitted.

People Die during litigation. This is neither a Democrat or Republican issue. This is Generic Common Sense.

What really needs to be discussed? Commitment Of Coverage!

In time of war the people who are uninsured would generally be among the first to be drafted. They are the ones without any representation or advocate.

The entire legislative calendar on Health Care Reform is an embarrassment to the US Constitution.

Where is "...Equal Protection Under The Law"?

Who Knows? It is NOT being discussed.

Nope. One vote contained in the residing house capacity no longer some thing. there remains a vote contained in the Senate, then a house/Senate convention committee to workout consultation adjustments, then *yet another* vote in each and every the residing house and the Senate on the most suitable bill. in simple terms because it may arise for a vote contained in the residing house does no longer mean some thing.

My prediction: It may pass the House...but it will never be law. They have to fight for it....but they wont allow it to be law because that will mean their jobs....so expect it to be a issue in the 2010 election for both sides.

It's all just a show now. They do not intend to pass it. While the Republicans are working to find a way for it to pass but not be involved....the Democrats are doing the opposite.

(As to where I am coming from....I am opposed to the bill).

NOPE...won't pass. IF they do pass it they are nuts and are not listening to what AMERICA said on TUESDAY! If they had listened to them on TV talking about why they voted as they did..they would be FOOLISH TO PASS IT! AMERICA DOES NOT WANT IT! AMA does not want it..only 13,000 doctors for OBAMA are onboard! Far from AMA!

Those with weak knees and SEE the pink slips will not vote for it....those that are nuts will.

We will see...but right now they dont' have enough votes.

I think that every vote she does get will be remembered long after this issue is over.

It's not as if we will just forget that they went so far from our approval.

And No, I don't think she will even get the 218(?)

    Doesn't matter. Pass = Pass.

You guys can lie to yourselves all you want. This is what the American people voted for. Americans want health reform. If you don't like it, that's fine, but stop pretending you represent anything other than a minority. There is not a hidden majority of ultra-conservative Americans waiting to rebel in support of your agenda, guys.

It isn't going to pass. To pass it is political suicide and they know it. The only reason it is still on the table is they are pandering to Obama.
