How do I pack doughnuts for shipping?

I live in Ohio and I would love to send some doughnuts to a friend of mine in Alaska. How do I prep them for shipping? (I dont have one of those fancy vaccuum things either)

Maybe just call a doughnut shop near where your friend lives and get them to deliver some to them instead of flying them halfway across the country.

I wouldn't bother. Doughnuts are best when fresh. They will be well past their prime by the time they get there. And I'm sure they have doughnuts in Alaska.

I rather send a box of chocolates than doughnuts.

Because of the heat temperature on the plane can be sometimes hot.
